Here you can find answers to some of the frequently asked questions regarding the farm.


Is the site wheelchair accessible? 

Yes. The Farm consists of solid paths all the way around. However, there are some uneven patches across the site, especially in the animal pens and fields.

Can I take my dog onto the farm?

No. You cannot take your dog onto the main farm for the safety and wellbeing of our animals and other visitors. Dogs are welcome within the outside seating area of the Garden Café.

What days is the farm open?

7 days a week. Feb to November. The farm is open everyday of week - Monday through to Sunday from 10am - 5pm (Last entry at 4:30pm)

How old do I need to be to volunteer?

You need to be 15 and over to volunteer. For more information, see the 'Support Us' page.

Are there toilets on site?

Sadly, we do not have public toilets on on-site. The nearest public toilets are on the South Devon Railway platform a short walk across the level crossing. 

Where do I park?

Unfortunately we do not have on-site parking.  The nearest car park is located at the main train station at Totnes. However, parking can be expensive. Alternative, cheaper parking can be found at the Pavilions Car Park,  Totnes.
